Leadership with children and families in view

Corinne Rothecker is the Founder, CEO and Owner of Nitanis Group Ltd, based in Edmonton, Alberta. A Cree woman from Pelican Lake First Nation, she leads an Indigenous-owned, Cree-led organization focused on child and family well-being, cultural continuity and Indigenous jurisdiction.

Her background includes 18 years in family and child-welfare legal practice. She brings that experience to organizational leadership and advocacy, with an emphasis on how services listen, make decisions and follow through on their responsibilities.

Corinne supports the implementation of the legislation commonly known as Bill C-92. Her advocacy focuses on the practical work of making respect for children, families and Indigenous authority visible in everyday services.
