Structure that strengthens relationships
Nitanis Group’s work depends on trusted relationships and reliable organizational practice. Lorraine’s leadership helps keep those two parts connected: the commitments made to people and communities, and the internal systems that help teams honour them.
Her work supports collaboration across programs, leadership and external relationships. The aim is an organization that communicates clearly, acts responsibly and remains grounded in its purpose as it grows.

Advancing fairer, more responsive systems
Lorraine’s systems advocacy focuses on identifying structural barriers and translating frontline realities into practical policy, procurement and administrative reform. Her work has contributed to changes that strengthen fairness, improve access and create more equitable pathways for organizations and communities to participate.
She brings legal analysis, operational judgment and a public-interest lens to complex systems questions, shaping solutions that are proportionate, transparent and accountable while keeping real-world impact in view.
Helping turn standards into everyday practice
Working with Nitanis leadership and program teams, Lorraine led the organizational work supporting Canadian Accreditation Council accreditation. Her role included policy drafting, implementation planning and compliance coordination, helping teams connect documented standards with day-to-day responsibilities and evidence.
Accreditation reflects the work of the organization as a whole. Lorraine’s contribution was to bring structure to that shared effort: clarifying requirements, coordinating follow-through and supporting the systems needed to sustain compliance beyond the assessment itself.
Good governance creates the conditions for people to do meaningful work with confidence, consistency and care.
Policies Do Not Implement Themselves
Lorraine examines how organizations move from approved policy to clear ownership, workable procedures, useful evidence and compliance that continues after an assessment.
